ORDER CANCELLATIONS AND MODIFICATIONS

Our fulfilment process begins immediately after an order is received and paid for, we will try our best to resolve your query, but if the order has already been processed, we may not be able to accommodate your request. Please email (simplysummerinfo@gmail.com) or call us (0615492575) immediately.

All confirmed orders will be subject to our return policy.

 

RETURN AND REFUND POLICY (ONLINE STORE ONLY)


1.1 Items damaged or faulty due to fulfillment errors
Our dedication to customer satisfaction is paramount, and we deeply regret any inconvenience caused. If you encounter a defective or damaged item, or experience a fulfillment error, kindly contact our support team within 30 days of delivery for prompt resolution.


In the event that you have received a faulty item, please contact us immediately with the following information:
• Your order number
• Which item(s) is/ are damaged
• Photographic evidence and description

Avoid Delays in Resolving Issues: Follow Proper Procedures for Returning Goods.


1.2 Returning of unopened products (store credit/exchange only)

To return products, contact us at simplysummerinfo@gmail.com within 7 days of receiving your order, providing order details and explaining the reason. Item must be unopened, unused, with packaging intact (we know when items have been used or tampered with). If approved, return items within 7 days. Customer covers return shipping.

Please note the following terms & conditions

  1. The return shipping cost is the responsibility of the customer. Customers must ensure traceability of the package, as Simply Summer does not accept liability for lost or misdelivered returns. Broken items not matching the provided picture will not be refunded or credited. Travel size lip recovery set (mini) is in clear packaging and not full white. 

Please allow up to 10 business days once your return has arrived back to us to inspect and authenticate the item(s) and process your refund.  Refunds will be issued as store credit excluding original shipping charges.

1.3 Returning of used/opened products

Unfortunately, due to product nature, no returns or exchanges for opened items. Review ingredient list on packaging and website for allergens. In case of reaction, discontinue use and consult medical professional. No refunds for allergies or sensitivities.

 

 

1.4 Other

Ensure availability via provided contact methods on e-mail or/and phone. Couriers will attempt contact for delivery arrangement. Lack of response may lead to parcel return.

The re-issuing cost for the parcel due to customer/receiver unavailability is borne by the customer. If you choose to cancel your order post return, the shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.

In the event an item becomes unavailable, we reserve the right to cancel your order or items within it at any time. A full refund will be provided back to your original form of payment. Notification of unfulfilled orders or items will be sent via email.

Compliance with Applicable Laws: This return policy is in compliance with all applicable consumer protection laws and regulations.

Modification of Return Policy: Simply Summer reserves the right to modify or update this return policy at any time without prior notice. Any changes to the policy will be posted on our website and will apply to all purchases made after the date of the policy update.

Brownie Ingredients & Allergens

GENERIC BROWNIE INGREDIENTS:SUGAR, SUNFLOWER OIL, EGGS, VANILLA ESSENCE, BAKING POWDER, SALT, WHEAT FLOUR, MILK CHOCOLATE, COCONUT OIL, CORN FLOUR, COCOA POWDER, WATER.Generic Brownie Allergens:- These are generic allergens present in all our brownies, please check specific product allergens too.- Generic Allergens: Cow's Milk, Soya, Wheat (Gluten), Eggs.
- All products may contain traces of Seeds, Tree Nuts, Peanuts. 
- Our ingredients and processes are Halaal.

How Brownies are transported

We seal the brownies airtight to maintain freshness, then bubble wrap them to insulate against heat, and lastly they are packaged in a double wall corrugated tub and then box with "fragile" and "this side up" handling instructions to make sure the courier knows how to handle the package.

Delivery Information

You can select a preferred delivery/collection date when checking out.

Please place your order 3-5 business days in advance before your preferred delivery date, depending on your delivery location. If no date is selected, we will prepare your order as soon as possible. Remember brownies are baked per order.

We offer Nationwide Delivery using The Courier Guy, as well as Local Delivery in Durban. Orders can also be collected from our HQ in Durban.

Please note, that delivery on your selected date is not guaranteed, we will however try to deliver on/before your selected date. We will let you know in advance if we are unable to deliver on/before your selected date.

Storage, usage and shelf life

Brownies:
Store brownies at room temperature, in a cool, dry spot, away from sunlight or heat, below 25°C. Toppings are heat-sensitive. Can be frozen on receipt, and kept frozen for up to 3 months.

Brownies will stay fresh for over 10 days, in the airtight box. Best enjoyed at room temperature, or warmed up in the microwave for approximately 20sec. See sticker attached for best before date and batch number.
