Simply Summer is a product of our love and friendship, Before diving into this adventure, let's explore the origins of our brand:

Founded in 2024, YEP! we may be new to the business scene, yet we have already sold thousands of lip treatments.

Our journey began in 2019 with a humble R3000 investment, leading us through a path of experimentation, resilience, and hard work before the inception of our current brand. We started and closed 3 businesses before birthing our baby Simply Summer. Its not easy being young and learning about business when you have no guidance.

We are from a small town in Durban, specifically Phoenix, and raised in humble households.

With a friendship spanning a decade as our foundation, we followed a familiar approach: honing the business plan, pinpointing market niches, and ramping up our efforts. Choosing to develop our own brand rather than importing, we tailor made our product for the amazing women of South Africa, with a background of cosmetic chemistry we were able to formulate our perfect lip treatment.

Our initial release of 500 units quickly sold out within the day of launch, prompting us to increase production to over 5000 units and move into our first mini warehouse space in Umhlanga. Where we hand make, fill and dispatch orders.

Our exclusive formula caters to diverse skin types, changes and intensifies according to your skins pH levels, providing nourishing care, and a perfect pink pout.

Striving to lead the lip care industry, we are dedicated to expanding our brand and captivating South African consumers with our exquisite lip care products to come, this is something that is not well established in South Africa, especially as a local brand.
